In addition, certain conventions stem from this mechanics, which in games with the open world today look quite stupid. For example, archers can shoot only directly in front of them and only if they are in the "combat mode". But the problem is that the “combat regime” provoke monsters, and not we do it at a distance of 2-3 cells, and then begin to get closer, so we simply cannot start the battle with the maximum distance of the archer shot, which casts doubt on the effectiveness of distant fight in general.
